One of my favorite times to do this is when I’m sick with a cold or something similar. I’m already fairly miserable (I’m a serious baby when I get sick) so I really try to do something that brings me joy and comfort, which is watching a horror movie (or five). And that got me thinking, “What are some of my comfort horror movies? What are the ones I fall back on when I’m not feeling well because it brings a smile to my face and I just enjoy the crap out of it?”

So I wanted to share a few of these movies with you and a brief explanation about what it is that makes these movies just so relaxing for me. Join me below!

Big Trouble In Little China

Seriously, I love this movie. It’s probably one of my all time favorites. It’s got everything I could want out of a movie: action, horror, fantasy, supernatural, martial arts, comedy, over-the-top acting, and some of the best one-liners in movie history. It truly baffles my mind when I meet someone who doesn’t like this movie. I just can’t get it. It doesn’t make sense to me.
