I thought it was hilarious that everything released for Well Go USA Entertainment’s Sx_Tape didn’t have anything sex related.

Now, in this exclusive clip from Candyman director Bernard Rose’s found-footage thriller starring Caitlyn Folley, Ian Duncan, Diana Garcia and Julie Marcus, we finally get a tease of this “sex tape”. It looks like it won’t end well.

Produced by Steven Schneider of Paranormal Activity fame, it will open on VOD and in limited theaters May 16, with home video slated for July 15.

“Adam and Jill attempt to spice up their relationship by recording a sex tape in an old abandoned mansion. However, it quickly becomes apparent that they’re not exactly alone in their new ominous surroundings. Soon the couple realizes that some sex tapes should never be made as their kinky adventure turns into a desperate fight for survival.“

Already out in the UK, Well Go USA Entertainment has announced a July 15 release for Candyman director Bernard Rose’s found-footage Sx_Tape, starring Caitlyn Folley, Ian Duncan, Diana Garcia and Julie Marcus.

Produced by Steven Schneider of Paranormal Activity fame, we recently caught wind of this one-sheet making the rounds. It’s an awful rip-off of previous Paranormal Activity, Quarantine and [REC] posters.

From Bernard Rose, director of Candyman, comes Sx_Tape, which quietly premiered at the BFI Film Festival this past October. While there’s still no distribution that we’re aware of, we do now have the first three images from the haunter starring Caitlyn Folley, Diana Garcia, and Ian Duncan.

Penned by Eric Reese, “SX Tape follows Adam and Jill as they attempt to spice up their relationship by recording a sex tape in an old abandoned mansion. However, it quickly becomes apparent that they’re not exactly alone in their new ominous surroundings. Soon, the couple realizes that some sex tapes should never be made as their kinky adventure turns into a desperate fight for survival.”

Sebastian Aloi, Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity), Chuck Simon, and Bradd Filmann produce. Thanks to Fabien M. for the tip!
