]]> German metal band Die Apokalyptischen Reiter (English: “The Horsemen of the Apocalypse”) has released an official video for their track “Freiheit Gleichheit Brüderlichkeit” (English: “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity”), which comes from their upcoming double album Tief.Tiefer (English: Deep.Deeper). The video, which is directed by Grupa 13 (Behemoth), features Orwellian images of surveillance and the ever watchful eye of an almost facist leader. The video is highly NSFW due to nudity and a few disturbing images.

Tief.Tiefer will be released in late May/early June in Europe. There are no US release dates yet. Pre-orders can be found here.

]]> Polish black metal masters Behemoth have been teasing the official music video for “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel”, the first single from their upcoming album The Satanist, for several weeks and each teaser video filled me with more and more anticipation. And now the video has finally arrived and it’s all I could’ve wanted and more! Directed by Grupa 13 (the team behind the fantastic “Lucifer” video), the black-and-white video is full of horrific, blasphemous, NSFW scenes. Overflowing with atmosphere, it’s a fantastic video and well worth watching for any horror fan.

As for the music, the song sounds like a step forward, almost like a new territory that has been opened. It’s still viciously brutal but there is a complexity here that makes it stand out. It definitely has me excited for the full album!
