While there were only 14 episodes created, they all contain some of the most memorable comedy routines I’ve ever seen.

In fact, the highlight for me was “The Curse of Mr. Bean,” which aired in 1990. Within the episode, Mr. Bean takes his new girlfriend to see a scary movie, which is presumably the 1989 A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child .

He boasts his confidence, teasing his girlfriend and acting like a fool…at least until the lights go down. That’s when Bean acts as if he’s physically being assaulted by the film, resulting in him covering his head with a popcorn bucket.

I’m not sure our younger readers will appreciate the comedy here, but hopefully this skit will turn a handful of you onto the delightful show that’s now streaming on Hulu.
