Reason’s acting career only lasted just over a decade in the 50’s and 60’s but he was quite prolific during that time. He acted on TV as well as several movies, including the sci-fi/horror films The Creature Walks Among Us and This Island Earth, where he played Dr. Cal Meacham, a brilliant scientist who is captured by aliens to assist them in their own interplanetary struggle.

According to Examiner, Reason made occasional visits to conventions and autograph shows. He also worked as a real estate broker after quitting acting.

We send our condolences to his family on their loss.
