I revisited Lucky McKee's MAY last night. A movie I totally forgot about it. I think the last time I saw it was at least ten years ago. Maybe it was the couple of glasses of wine but I was floored by it, absolutely pinned to the seat eyeballs glued to the screen. It's not even the movie I remembered. I'm just sort of in a state of shock from it... I think it's even a better film than De Palma's Carrie (which I <3. )


What score would you give it? I'm going to watch it again tonight.

    I enjoyed this film too - might be worth a re-watch now you mention it. Speaking of McKee though, 'The Woman' is brilliant, and I think I enjoyed that a little bit more... B)

    Angela Bettis is one of the most underrated actresses ever

    Pretty much anything directed by McKee (and even when it is taken from him, like the Brian Cox/Tom Sizemore Red) is worth attention. May is a gem, something one finds and sits in wonderment.
