Not to mention Disney owned Miramax for years while all the Scream movies were coming out, so it's not like they will all of the sudden stop production on "R" movies.
I'm not worried about movies in production. I meant more of going forward with new projects. Are we going to get movies like Logan and Deadpool once the take over is fully complete? The best Marvel stuff to me is the rated R movies and the mature Netflix shows. Hopefully those have had enough success for them to continue that path.
This whole Disney/Fox acquisition is so depressing. It's anti-competition. They're just taking over and it's going to kill creativity and difference. They're coming for Netflix next, mark my words. Not to acquire, but to stomp out entirely. Don't be surprised if they don't start building up Hulu now to take the streaming market. I mean think about it, they could have a service with such a vast amount of content. It's going to happen.
All I keep seeing is "at least Marvel have all their characters back now" but there are so many ramifications to this that are seriously worrisome for the future of the industry.

Problem #2 is Disney pretty much has Hulu how. It's gonna hurt film more than TV. Amazon/Hulu/Netflix are gonna be in a fight to the death.
