  • @Wonderlust Love Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker! Susan Tyrrell is so great as the demented aunt. Miss her bunches.

Don't forget some good old fashioned politically incorrect homophobia that simply wouldn't fly today by everyone's favorite Swedish redneck character actor Bo Svenson as the lead detective. It's not every movie where that creepy toy store owner guy from Silent Night, Deadly Night (that looks like a poor man's Ed Lauter) is the voice of reason. Tyrell was shit tons scarier than the goofy Tourette's crackhead Mrs. Voorhees even if her brand was more on the scheming, manipulative side of psychopathy.

  • Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich. (2018) - 6/10.

Best enjoyed with your choice of rotgut. Totally over the top with seemingly no taboo kills left on the table.
  • Truth or Dare - 3/5

Not bad but not great horror from Blumhouse. Decent enough concept executed inoffensively, but the snapchat filter effects and lack of tension distracts.

    Unsane - 3/5

Weird drama thriller shot on an iphone to give the weirdness an even weirder look. Not bad Soderberg but please leave the gimmicks behind.
  • Happy Death Day 2U (2019)

They went above and beyond for this sequel, really pulled out all the stops. Clever, touching, and even made me lol a couple times. Respect to writer/director Christopher Landon - was surprised to learn that he wrote Disturbia and four Paranormal Activity sequels. This guy must love working in the horror genre. Strong three out of five.
I love the way you sing, okay? I fucked up my whole life because of the way you sing. - Before Midnight
  • Witchery- 7/10
  • Basket Case 1982 (8.5/10) - Revisiting these films, still very charming.

  • Free Solo
...my god, the tension! I was literally on the edge of the sofa watching this. Utterly brilliant! No acting involved. Just pure adrenaline.
  • MaydayMayday - Mega-City One
    London Fields - 6.5/10
    Billionaire Boys Club - 3.5/10

  • Demonwarp (1988) - 7/10.

The score is mostly for the insane final fifteen minutes. The first hour and fifteen minutes is a whack ass killer bigfoot movie with tits sprinkled in here and there.
