Disney+’s “WandaVision” Sitcom Series Has a Halloween Episode!

Published

on

Not everything in 2020 is awful as Disney+ promises to end the year with a bang, debuting the dynamite first trailer for Marvel Studios’ captivating new series, “WandaVision”, which is a spectacular blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The footage plays out like a classic sitcom – laugh track and all – and shows Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – who begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

While “WandaVision” is a unique spin on two of everyone’s favorite Marvel characters, it also looks to carry something for horror fans – a Halloween-themed episode!

There are shots of both Wanda and Vision hilariously wearing their “classic” Marvel comic costumes, as well as Kathryn Hahn as a witch and a very, very brief shot of the town decorated for the holiday. Here’s hoping this drops on Halloween!

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
