Ruggero Deodato and Fantastico Studio Announce Upcoming ‘Cannibal Holocaust’ Video Game

In celebration of 40 years of Ruggero Deodato‘s found footage classic Cannibal Holocaust, we’ve learned today that a video game is on the way from Deodato and Fantastico Studio!

Billed as “the fourth, highly awaited chapter of Deodato’s cannibals cycle,” Cannibal will be available from November 2020 for Nintendo SwitchPS4Xbox OnePC and mobile.

“Cannibal is an interactive horror graphic adventure made with Unity, with the direction and script of Ruggero Deodato, and the original drawings of Solo Macello, in which the player will take control of different characters, to reveal, little by little, the background that led them to a desperate expedition to the virgin jungles of Borneo. And of course, get to discover the end of the story, destined to shake from the foundations every certainty acquired during the game.”

Ruggero Deodato’s “Cannibal Trilogy” kicked off with Jungle Holocaust in 1977, which was followed by the infamous Cannibal Holocaust in 1980 and then Cut and Run in 1985.

Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]

The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.

Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:

V Rising exits Early Access on Steam on May 8th, alongside the Legacy of Castlevania crossover. A PlayStation 5 version will also be released later this year.
