Back in 2018, Auroch Digital and Ripstone had a little game called Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics, which was based on the Achtung! Cthulhu universe created by John Houlihan. And now, the series is going back to its roots with a new entry in Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20, which is available now for pre-order from publisher Modiphius Entertainment.

According to the Press Release, the new pulp adventure setting and rulebook pits the commandos of Britain’s Section M, the Marines of the United States’ Majestic, and the French Resistance against the Nazi Black Sun occultists and their Lovecraftian masters. The new tabletop adventure game will launch with a full roster of core books and bundles, and a suite of monthly missions, beginning with Operation Vanguard, Under the Gun, and Seventh Inning Slaughter in April.

Cthulhu is a labor of love for all of us at Modiphius, from the extremely talented artists and illustrators who craft our books, the masterful minds designing our rulesets, to the brilliant writers who shape these adventures,” said John Houlihan, author of Achtung!
