Bloody Disgusting has the world trailer premiere for Millennium Films’ new horror movie The Dare, which has its world premiere at Popcorn Frights Film Festival on August 9th.

We also have a new still from Giles Alderson’s latest feature film in which a rare family night takes a brutal twist when Jay, a workaholic father, awakens in a dank basement with three other prisoners. As their vengeful captor runs riot, Jay engages in a twisted battle to solve the puzzle to his past and save his family’s future.

The Dare is a psychological horror taking aim at consequences from the past. This dark and twisted tale stars Richard Brake (3 From Hell, “Game of Thrones”), Bart Edwards (UnREAL, Fantastic Beasts), Richard Short (Mary Kills People), Robert Maaser (Mission Impossible 5), and Alexandra Evans (Redistributors).

“With The Dare, I am playing with the minds of the audience,” said Alderson. “I want them to think about who they are rooting for, where their sympathy lies and why. This horror film has feelings, deeply hurt emotions and hidden secrets that I can’t wait for the audience to experience”.

Alderson co-wrote The Dare with Jonny Grant.

Producers include Julian Kostov (Leatherface) Yariv Lerner (Hellboy) and Alexander Kenanov (Loving Pablo) for B2Y Productions. Shot in Nu Boyana Studios in Bulgaria. Sales Millennium Films (Hellboy, Day of The Dead, Rambo, Last Blood).
