Orphaned Land And Metal Injection Team Up For Exclusive Video Content

Israel’s ORPHANED LAND pioneered Middle Eastern metal music and the band just completed a highly successful North American stint with Suidakra that included two high profile SXSW performances. The great folks at Metal Injection caught up with Kobi (vocals) and Jossi (guitars) for a candid, in-depth interview when they rolled through BB Kings in NYC and you can view that interview now at the link below along with a slew of exclusive live footage from that show.

ORPHANED LAND’s highly acclaimed fourth studio opus The Never Ending Way of ORwarriOR is a sophisticated concept album taking their unique brand of exotic, heavy music to soaring new heights in terms of complexity and catchiness. 
The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR was mixed by Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree, Opeth), who is also responsible for several keyboard parts on the new album. The time has come for Middle Eastern metal to take over.

Musician Charli xcx, who’s fresh off an appearance in this year’s new Faces of Death movie, is next joining forces with another legendary name in horror: David Cronenberg!

Charli xcx took to social media this afternoon to preview her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film, which is now up for pre-order on various formats and releasing July 24.

Variety notes in their coverage of the album, “To support the record, Charli will head out on a 12-date North American arena tour, kicking off on September 11 in Philadelphia. The trek includes two nights at both Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum.”
