Fred Durst Invades Horror Genre With ‘Psycho Killer’

Published

on

Just the name alone makes me vomit a little in my mouth. Fred Durst. Oh, gross. I might have to go grab myself a bucket as the Limp Bizkit frontman is looking to enter our genre as he’s going to direct a film by the name of Psycho Killer (clever title). “I’m going to direct ‘Psycho Killer,’ written by Andrew Kevin Walker,” he said. “He wrote ‘Seven,’ (which) David Fincher directed. I’m very excited about it. It’s not a throwaway slasher genre film. It’s a very smart, really compelling story about a serial killer on a mission for Satan. It’s really interesting and the way it’s written — it’s so unique. Andy is an incredible writer. It looks like we’re going to go into preproduction around August.” Watch this spot for more details (along with dribbles of puke) as it comes in.
