Progress Update on ‘Zombieland 2 3D’
For the lot of you who enjoyed Zombieland as much as I did, here’s a little update from director Ruben Fleischer regarding the forthcoming 3-D sequel. “We have been talking to the studio and we pitched them some ideas that they seemed to really like. We are definitely doing the film in 3D,“Fleischer tells Icons vs Icons. “Sony has their own 3D division now and we are going to go get a little tour of that on Tuesday (3/2/2010), of the 3D department. I know that the cast are all excited to be a part of the sequel, so it should be a great, fun movie to make! The script is about to be written and hopefully we will shoot it sometime towards the end of the year or early next year.” I can’t wait to see the next “death of the week”.
Out today in select theaters and on digital platforms is heartfelt and playful documentary Mockbuster, which sees a director cold call a studio and ask to helm a lost-world dinosaur epic.

From Executive Producer and famed documentarian David Farrier, Mockbuster opens in select theaters and on digital platforms beginning July 10.
