Troma Founder Lloyd Kaufman Runs Off Remake Potential

Published

on

During a podcast interview with AITH, Troma founder Lloyd Kaufman once again chatted remakes. “Right now there’s some people who want to remake Poultrygeist, so I’m sort of negotiating with them right now,” he explains. “There’s been sort of a new interest because the Toxic Avenger is being remade and Mother’s Day is being remade, now a lot of these big time producers are coming to us. And even The Class of Nuke ‘Em High..” I would normally call bunk on ol’ Lloyd, but with Mother’s Day now in post-production, it’s hard not to think one of these will eventually make it to the big screen once again. If you guys had to choose, which Troma film would you like to see remade (if any)?
