Magnolia has announced an October 29 Halloween release for Gareth Edwards’ Monsters (review), which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival and this summer’s LAFF. Described more as a sci-fi drama, the pic begins six years after a NASA probe crashes, bringing alien life forms to Earth. A journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border. No trailer has been released, but there is a clip you can check out here.
