Leaked Trailer for ‘Quarantine 2: Terminal’!
Say what you will about Quarantine, Sony Screen Gems’ English-language remake of REC, but it was a pretty good film that not only introduced a new audience to the Spanish franchise, but also got a sequel made here in the States. The more horror the better, if you ask me.
Entering post-production last July, a trailer has now leaked online for Stage 6’s direct-to-disc Quarantine 2: Terminal, the John Pogue-directed sequel starring Mercedes Masohn and Josh Cooke. You can also read our special preview.
“In ‘Quarantine’, an apartment building in Los Angeles was quarantined by the CDC (Center for Disease Control), trapping the frightened residents inside as a deadly mutant virus turned the residents into rabid killers. ‘Terminal’ picks up later that night at LAX, as passengers board a flight to Nashville. When a passenger becomes violently ill with a mysterious rabies-like virus, the plane makes an emergency landing at a large metropolitan airport. Jenny (Masohn), a heroic yet inexperienced flight attendant, takes charge of the safety of her passengers. Relieved when a swarm of heavily equipped emergency vehicles, police units and the CDC arrive, Jenny and the passengers soon discover that they have been quarantined and are now trapped. Desperate to escape, Jenny enlists the help of one of the surviving passengers, a kindergarten teacher, Henry (Cooke), to devise a plan to survive.”

Keanu Reeves Describes Untitled Time Loop Thriller from Director Tim Miller as ‘Groundhog Day’ With Sharks
At one point known as Shiver, Tim Miller‘s (Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Fate) next movie doesn’t yet have a title, but star Keanu Reeves offers a very intriguing tease this week.
Chatting with Collider, Reeves explains what drew him to the mysterious upcoming project from director Tim Miller. He tells the outlet, “Sharks. Time machine. Groundhog Day.”
That lines up with early plot details that surfaced earlier this year, with the film said to center on a “smuggler in the middle of a deadly double-cross while on a job in the Caribbean Sea.”
That synopsis continued, “Surrounded by bodies, hostile mercenaries, and bloodthirsty sharks, the man finds himself in a time loop and scrambling to break the cycle.”
Callie Cooke (“The Stranger”), Stefan Kapičić (Deadpool), Steven Waddington (Sleepy Hollow), Nicholas Duvernay (“The White Lotus”), Abraham Popoola (Cruella), Anastasia Safonov, and Bobby Holland Hanton (Thor: Love and Thunder) also star.
Ian Shorr (Splinter, Infinite) penned the screenplay for the sci-fi thriller, which had previously been described as having shades of Edge of Tomorrow and The Shallows.
Stay tuned for more on the untitled Warner Bros. project.
