Arclight Saves Alien Race From Man With ‘Into Darkness’
Bloody Disgusting learned of a new indie horror from Radar Pictures and Arclight entitled Into Darkness (aka Heart of Darkness 2388), which is to be directed by The Haunting in Connecticut‘s Peter Cornwell.
Penned by Tony Gilio and Branden R. Morgan, the film is a sci-fi adaptation of a classic novella where a captain of an interstellar vessel is sent to investigate the disappearance of a famous explorer in search of a potential habitable planet. He is forced to reevaluate his orders after finding the explorer who is trying to protect an alien race from the violence of humanity.
Shooting begins next year in Australia.
Out today in select theaters and on digital platforms is heartfelt and playful documentary Mockbuster, which sees a director cold call a studio and ask to helm a lost-world dinosaur epic.

From Executive Producer and famed documentarian David Farrier, Mockbuster opens in select theaters and on digital platforms beginning July 10.
