Dee Snider Says ‘Strangeland II’ Still A Possibility

Published

on

From BD contributor Chris Lockett: In August of last year, Dee Snider broke the news via his Twitter that Strangeland ll: Disciple, the sequel to the 1998 cult classic Strangeland, was officially “Dead in the water”. Now, a little under a year later, BD is happy to bring you the exclusive news that Strangeland ll has officially risen from the dead! When we asked Mr. Snider to give us a final confirmation of the sequel’s demise, we were shocked and excited to find out that the film is in fact alive and well, and that Mr. Snider and his manager are currently “working on getting it financed.”

Now, keep in mind that a movie securing financing is not an easy prospect, so nothing is 100% as of yet. However, this gives hope that there is still great interest in seeing what further horrors are in the future of Captain Howdy.

Chris Lockett also managed to get Snider’s Top 5 Horror Films, which you can see below.

Dee Snider has just released an autobiography entitled “Shut Up And Give Me The Mic” as well as a new album of Broadway covers entitled Dee Does Broadway. Check below for his rendition of “Mack The Knife”.

Dee Snider’s Top 5 Horror Films:

1. The Exorcist
2. Dawn Of The Dead (original)
3. The Evil Dead
4. The Silence Of The Lambs
5. The Thing (Carpenter version)
