Trailer and Poster For Anchor Bay’s ‘Walled In’
If you clickity on over to BDTV, you can check out the first trailer for Anchor Bay Entertainment’s Walled In, which stars Mischa Barton, Deborah Kara Unger and Cameron Bright. In addition, beyond the break you’ll find the first official one sheet for the film that was directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner. Based on Serge Broselot’s bestselling French novel “Les Emmeures,” pic casts Barton as a demolition company rep who supervises the razing of a mysterious building and discovers horrifying secrets and past inhabitants entombed within its walls by a vicious murderer.
Written and directed by “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail, the upcoming Panic Carefully is described as being in the vein of “Mr. Robot” and The Silence of the Lambs, and it’s coming to theaters next year from Warner Bros. Previously set for theatrical release on February 26, 2027, however, Panic Carefully has been moved this week to April 9, 2027.
Panic Carefully will be released in theaters and IMAX by Warner Bros.
Julia Roberts leads the star-studded cast of Sam Esmail’s Panic Carefully, which also includes Eddie Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts), Brian Tyree Henry (Godzilla vs. Kong), Ben Chaplin (The Thin Red Line), Aidan Gillen (“Game of Thrones”), Joe Alwyn (The Favourite), Naledi Murray (“Sweet Tooth”), and Elizabeth Olsen (“WandaVision”).
Esmail previously directed Julia Roberts in Netflix’s Leave the World Behind.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the paranoid thriller is said to involve the hunt for a cyber-terrorist.
Esmail and Chad Hamilton produce for Esmail Corp. (“Mr. Robot”), along with Roberts, Scott Stuber (Frankenstein), Marisa Yeres Gill (Leave the World Behind), and Lisa Gillan (Leave the World Behind). Kevin McCormick and Chrystal Li are overseeing the project for Warner Bros.
