TV: Full Trailer for ‘True Blood’, Minisode and Promo for ‘The Gates’

Two pieces of television news in one post as HBO released the FULL trailer for their forthcoming third season of “True Blood” which will reveal what happened to vampire Bill Compton. In addition, below you’ll find ABC’s first promo for “The Gates”. Written by Richard Hatem and Grant Scharbo, “Gates” centers on a big-city cop (Grillo) who becomes chief of police in a seemingly sleepy planned community only to discover there’s much more to the residents than meets the eye. The series is being eyed for a summer launch. Mably (“The Prince and Me”) will play one of the residents, a cardiologist who is a vampirelike creature. Gavankar (“The L Word”) will play a local cop with a dark secret. West (“90210”) will play the owner of a tea shop. ‘Turning Point’ Trailer Locks Couple Inside With Newly Turned Zombie

A couple trapped with a zombie finds potential salvation in a horror-loving neighbor in the official trailer for Turning Point.

Lionsgate releases Turning Point on VOD and Digital on August 25, 2026.

In the film,There is danger in the night, but the true terror is inside the house. Trapped within the home of a zombie in transition, Margot and her partner in crime must find their way out before they become the ghoul’s first victims. Their only hope for survival is a bizarre neighbor with an expert knowledge of the undead and the flicker of humanity remaining in their mutating stalker.

The bizarre neighbor here, Casper, is played by DJ Qualls (Road Trip,Creepshow).

Jillian Lee Garner, Mike Apple, Shane Brady (Ballers, Synchronic, Doctor Sleep), Lydia Hearst (The Haunting of Sharon Tate, Z Nation, Slayers) and Sanchita Malik (Happy Anniversary, Love, Escape the Night) also star.

Turning Point has been ratedRfor violent content, gore, language, and some drug use.
