It’s a Sign: Full ’11-11-11′ Trailer Delivers the Chills

Published

on

I’m a sucker for religious horror, especially films like The Exorcist, Ninth Gate and Lord of Illusions. Darren Lynn Bousman’s forthcoming 11-11-11 looks like it drops dead center into the wicked world of numerology, evil conspiracies and religious espionage — everything that’s awesome on film.

This afternoon Bousman – director of Saw II-IV, Mother’s Day and Repo! – dropped the full trailer for his latest horror incarnation that diverts from action and really delivers on the chills. Dig on it inside and watch his blog for more soon!

After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his estranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11. Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it’s a WARNING!

Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes, Wendy Glenn, Lluis Soler, Ángela Rosal, Brendan Price, Salomé Jimenez, Benjamin Cook and Montse Alcoverro all star.

The film followsthree generations of women who reunite in a remote cabin to avenge a loved one’s death, only to discover their captive isn’t who he seems to be and his family is closing in, waiting for sundown.

Rebekah McKendry directs from a script by Glorious collaborators Joshua Hull and David Ian McKendry

Daniel Bernhardt (Deathstalker, John Wick), David Alpay (From), Kyle Mac (Carrie 2013), Elisa PasztJunko Bailey (The Grudge 2019), Megan Best (Time Cut), and David Ian McKendry round out the cast.

The horror film features special effects makeup from Patrick Baxter (Alien: Earth, Ghostbusters: Afterlife), and other effects from Creature Cabin and Steven Kostanski’s Action Pants FX.
