VNV Nation To Release ‘Automatic’ This Fall: Full US Tour Confirmed

Published

on

One of the first video interviews I conducted for Bloody-Disgusting was VNV Nation at the Necto in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Having already been a fan for years, I was beyond excited to finally meet Ronan Harris and have a chat with him. So, hearing that there is a new album coming out this fall is like having Barry White sex my ears up with his velvety voice. I’m already getting all warm and gooey inside thinking of all the good times I can have with this album. Hell, I remember getting lucky to some VNV tracks once! Don’t believe me? Neither did she, but that’s because she kept asking, “Is it in yet?” Look, it’s not the size of the boat, it’s the motion of the ocean, okay? I’m gonna go cry now…

The new album, Automatic, which comes out September 27th, is the follow up to the critically acclaimed Of Faith, Power, and Glory. Here’s a really cool direct quote from a press release: “Calling the new album half-jokingly his “Opus of Retro-futurism”, Ronan has been streamlining the music, artwork, and imaging of this album into a concept that encompasses the industrialization and technology of late 30s America while embracing the technology of today.”
