Meet The Ghostbusters: Sanctum Of Slime Rooks

Published

on

In the new Ghostbusters game, Sanctum of Slime, you and 3 of your friends (if you have that many) play as 4 ghostbusting rookies sent out into the field to ghostbust their way through their apprenticeship.

If you head past the break you can read a little bit about all 4 rookie ghostbusters. Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime will be released March 23rd on the PC, Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade. ALAN CRENDALL
Practical and hardworking, he’s no real background in the paranormal, but is the workhorse leader of the team – the others know he’s always there to pick them up after a Knock Down or help with wrangling a frenzied ghoul. He’s also the steady hand of the team – when things go wrong he’s the one with the plan.

SAMUEL HAZER
An optimistic scientist with a positive outlook that keeps the team’s spirits high. There’s no ghost too big or bad that can’t be figured out and then busted. He has a slight advantage with his studies in the paranormal and makes good use of this extra knowledge to help bust the stranger entities that the team comes across.

BRIDGET GIBBONS
The tough chick with a fierce determination and a penchant for wisecracks at other’s expense. Like Alan she has no paranormal training, but is a natural Ghostbuster, always at the forefront of the battles. At times sparks can fly between her and the rest of the team, but the jokes end when there’s work to be done.

GABRIEL SITTER
The technical genius of the group, he’s also not scared of getting his hands dirty when the ghosts try and get up close and personal. Following in Dr Spengler’s footsteps, he’s keen to learn more about being a Ghostbuster, and make his own mark unearthing more information on the spectral realm and developing his own new technologies.

All of us here at Bloody Disgusting are deeply sad to learn that actress Daveigh Chase has passed away at just 35 years old. The news was first reported by TMZ this afternoon.

The outlet reports, “The actress’ boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, tells TMZ … Daveigh died Tuesday from meningitis and an infection in her blood, which caused her to have septic issues and led to her body shutting down.” The website’s report continues, “We’re told Daveigh had been admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles earlier this month because of malnutrition.”

Here in the horror world, a young Daveigh Chase memorably played Samara in Gore Verbinski’s 2002 horror movie The Ring, the American remake of the Japanese horror hit.

Far outside the horror world, Daveigh Chase voiced Lilo in the 2002 animated movie Lilo & Stitch, a character she continued to voice in various animated spinoff projects.

Chase also appeared as Samantha Darko in the 2001 classic Donnie Darko, later returning to play the sister of Donnie Darko in the 2009 spinoff movie titled S. Darko.

Daveigh Chase’s resume also includes roles on the TV shows “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “Charmed,” “ER,” “Touched by an Angel,” “CSI,” “Cold Case,” and 32 episodes of “Big Love.”

Chase appeared in the films The Rats, Silence, Carolina, Beethoven’s 5th, Yellow, Little Red Wagon, Transference, Killer Crush, Jack Goes Home, and American Romance.

We send our deepest condolences to Daveigh Chase’s family, friends, and fans.
