Remember playing as a kid and diving deep into the recesses of your imagination? Remember how you pretended that you could be anyone or anything? For me, it was a tossup between Mega Man, Simon Belmont (Simon’s Quest FTW!), and Dracula. Mega Man was just such a badass, always fighting through hordes of evil robots to face Dr. Wily and save the day.
But it was Belmont and Dracula that really got my imagination stirring. Either I was the hero of the day, the man who had to save the land from the nightmarish, demonic denizens that roamed forests, towns, lakes, and castles, or I was the villain himself, the epitome of darkness.
