5 Modern Films That Need a Black and White Version!

Mad Max Black and White

Insidious

Insidious seems to be a fairly divisive film among us horror fans. Personally, I love it, and it scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it in theaters. That is all thanks to that lipstick-faced, goat-hoofed demon. Some people found him silly, I found him terrifying. And you know what, I even like the last act. No shame. Maybe a black & white version would diminish the demon’s impact, since the red on his face wouldn’t be visible, but as an old-school haunted house film, it definitely lends itself to the format.

Insidious Black & White

I’m sure there are plenty of others that I’ve left off. What are some films that you think deserve the black & white treatment? I chose to use modern horror films so this list wouldn’t be comprised of the usual films (Halloween, Friday the 13th, etc.), so what do you think needs to be on my list? Let me know in the comments below!

Also, YouTube user Renn Brown already went through the trouble of creating a black and white trailer for Fury Road. Give it a watch!
