The world lost a great writer and director on Sunday night. It’s still difficult to believe that we will never get another Wes Craven-directed film (or be able to see the words “Wes Craven Presents” above a film title). Craven’s greatest creation is (in)arguably the Springwood Slasher himself, Freddy Krueger. Krueger has been a huge influence on pop culture ever since Craven brought him to the silver screen in 1984, so we thought we’d take a look back at some of his most notable appearances/tributes.
