It is a great sequal i enjoyed just as much as the 1st one.
Perhaps it is because of the fact that I am a major Guillermo del Torro fan, but I enjoyed “Blade 2″ even more than the original film even if it is more outlandish. Then again, when del Torro is helming: the more outlandish, the better.
The biggest element the first film was missing for me was a memorable villain. Well, “Blade 2″ has plenty- ranging from the buff Ron Pearlman to the scissor kicking and monstrous Luke Goss.
Guillermo del Torro directed “Blade 2″ to essentially get the opportunity to direct “Hellboy”, but there is no lack of effort or determination behind the camera. In fact, Guillermo filmed every scene himself; there was no Second Unit Director for “Blade 2″.
Wesley Snipes slices, dices, and crane kicks enough vampire and Reaper ass to satisfy audiences.
Great Daywalker RULES! Sadly last good Blade Movie!
My favorite Blade movie. I loved the music and the fight scenes were terrific. Great cast and memorable characters. Better than the original “Blade”.
I agree that this was the best of the trilogy. I really do not like Snipes all that much but I thought everyone else did a fine job. Thank you for not putting Parker Posey in this film.
I liked what del Toro did hear. I’m sick of seeing all these good looking vampires. I want to see them as the monsters that they are. Solid film, and I wish that the third would have been more along the lines of this one. Darker, and more of a horror movie.
Awesome. Again good plot, with a new breed of vamps. Very gory. Good as the first.
this blade was fun and kinda corny at times (i mean it was obviously cg’d up)but i liked it just fine.
this one is my favourite one just as good as the first one great action and music in most vampire films you hear metal music in this is rap and hardhouse tunes brill
Not to bad of a film. Not better then the first and not worst then the third.
The best of the series probably because it was directed by Del Toro.
Blade 2 is even more action packed than Blade 1. At the beginning of the movie one is doubting that the movie turns out to be any good but after the first minutes of action the movie shows a good story line, new vampire breeds and a lot of black humour.
The action scenes are even more filled with vampires and especially the team of vampires joining the Daywalker is very watchable.
Different characters and high tech toys against vampires is just “delicious” to watch.
Also the insight into the elder vampires hideout and the “upgrades” made to the old building is very interesting. However, it does not stand a chance against Nomak.
I can just recommend watching Blade 2.
Pretty Good.
Blade 2 is an incredible sequel. It is fun and interesting vampire flick from start to finish. Excellent acting, choreography, and special effects. Wesley Snipes is the man and he kicks ass in his role as Blade. I suggest watching the original and the sequel, and leave it right there. There is no reason to see the third film as it completely ruins the franchise. Seriously, its that bad.
Just as good as the 1st. I really love this movie.
Fucking amazing! I thought that this one was just a little bit better than the first film. This is is my favorite out of the three. If you have seen blade and liked it, and haven’t seen this one yet, check this one out, my guess is that you’ll probably love it. It’s badass!
……
Yeh ok, I don’t really like being on the vamps side tho.
pretty good, i liked to watch it and there were some good kills. not as good as the 1st one though
not as good as the first one but its not terrible. i have to say, ron pearlman made me enjoy this a bit more
Blade kicks ass
Loved this movie! Lots of awesome kills, cool characters, Blade is still badass, and the one and only Norman Reedus is in it! I love him :>
