There was a juicy morsel of news hiding within the Paranormal Activity 2 announcement as it revealed that writer Michael R. Perry’s spec feature script, The Voices, landed in the third slot on the 2009 Black List (the best unproduced scripts around town). Voices is now set up with Doug Davison and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment (Quarantine, The Uninvited, The Ring, The Grudge) with Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo) developing. Here’s the logline: Jerry, a schizophrenic worker at a bathtub factory, accidentally kills an attractive woman from accounting.
