the weakest of the trilogy, seems to be missing something that i cant quite pinpoint, overall it’s fun over the top stuff that the animator movies should be, but it’s not done as well as the previous two.

Now this one is definitely the stepchild of the three films. However, after a 13 year hiatus, this one still delivers with the feel of the original two. This a rarely accomplished feat. (Phantasm IV and Return to Sleepaway Camp come to mind…)

The prison setting makes for a nice twist on the premise, but they could have done much more with it.
That being said, it’s definitely a lot of fun. Anything Brian Yuzna touches turns to gold (The Dentist, Re-Animator, Return of the Living Dead 3 all come to mind.) I hope they are allowed to go forward with a fourth film. They were able to do it really well after thirteen years. It’s only been six years since this one…

I don’t care what fans say, this movie is still right on par with the first two. Sure it’s way after it’s time (would’ve been better suited for a late 80′s release) but it manages to hold onto what made Re-animator so cool in the first place.

While not at the level of the original I personally find this one to be more entertaining than Bride. Jeffery Combs is great as always, the gore is plentiful & make sure to watch through the credits for a fight that has to be seen to be believed. Good fun!

Not the greatest movie, but it kept me watching at least. I love “Move Your Dead Bones”.

Entertaining film. No where near as good as Re-Animator but still good watch.

An entertaining but unnecessary film. Certainly didn’t move the story forward, or I guess “Beyond Re-Animator.”

Official Score: 2.5 / 5
