This is a great slasher movie. Of course, it’s only an attempt to catch a quick buck of of the success of the Halloween films, but it certainly kept me at the edge of my seat. With a hillariously hillarious costume, pretty gruesome deaths for an ’80s film, and a terrifying climax, I reccomend this to any Slasher movie fan.
jamie lee curtis was fun to watch in these horror films in the early 80s.
this one was cool in that it was a who dun it type of film and the fact it took place on a train was awesome.
A dreadful, boring exercise with few creative or innovative ideas (despite a fairly menacing killer), and lots of unintentionally hilarious scenes. Good acting, however, is its one saving grace.
This was the first scary movie I ever saw , and even after 27 years I still watch it , when ever its on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found this movie on sale for 5 dollars at circuit city and watched it as soon as i got home.it was a good slasher film. The killer was a little weird and the ending was predictable and jamie lee curtis looked 40 but besides that it was a good movie.
a good slasher classic.
insanely great movie.i found it at circuit city on sale and its amazing check it out
you gotta luv the 80s
this movie was good, but the ending was a little predictable.
this is a good slasher too
I don’t see what the big deal is about this movie. Until a few weeks ago, I had never seen this movie but wanted to because of all the good reviews I saw. Well, I saw and was sorely disappointed. It was so slow, I don’t even think you can classify this as a slasher movie. Newayz it was really fuckin boring to me.
A great 80s slasher with the classic “revenge” theme. Something goes wrong one year, and the murders start the a few years later
I think this slasher is one of the best of it’s kind. This is because the movie is inventive, the settings are well done and David Copperfield is in a highly enjoyable camero. A must watch for 80s slasher fans. I doubt that newcommers to the genre will appreciate this movie enough
Decent slasher, highly overrated. A movie that tries real hard to be surprising and unpredictable – but actually is completely unsurprising and predictable. Aside from that the first hour is very slow-paced and unsuspenseful. At least the killer’s masks are great and the last half hour is really tense and creepy, plus: I totally enjoyed the gorgeous cast (superhot scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis, David Copperfield, Ben Johnson).
….
Great! It’s no Halloween, but I loved it. Jamie Lee Curtis did an awesome job!
AMAZING slasher movie. The scene where Jamie Lee’s character Alana locks herself in a caged area to escape the killer, and he gets a large pole to break through the door was a definite nail-biter. The film featured good acting, great kills, and incredible suspense. HIGHLY recommended to slasher fans!
I really enjoyed the movie, Jamie Lee Curtis is awesome.
claustrophobic goodness! A little dark on the lightning but its a fun 80′s flick with atmosphere to boot.
Another great Jamie Lee Curtis movie. This movie was very entertaining and, in my opinion, lived up to the old standard of a slasher.
