Sony Screen Gems Remaking ‘Blind Terror’

Another remake tip came in this evening (this has been one crazy mother-friggin’ month) as we were tipped off that Sony Screen Gems is developing Unseen, a remake of the 1971 classic Blind Terror (aka See No Evil) that starred Mia Farrow as a recently blinded woman who’s sent off to her relatives’ farm and what happens when they are murdered. Vertigo’s ‘Shutter’ Remake Begins Casting, Director Found!

One of the best Asian horror films in years is the Thai film Shutter, which we’ve been ranting and raving about here at B-D for years. The film finally hits US DVD on March 27th thanks to Tartan Asia Extreme – and the timing couldn’t be any more perfect. B-D Interviews ‘See No Evil’s’ Gregory Dark

Former music video director Gregory Dark, for his first feature film, has chosen the horror genre to make his debut. See No Evil, opening in theatres May 19th, is a slasher picture with a difference – instead of a faceless psychopath, this time the viewers will be presented with a killer who may elicit sympathy as well as horror. WWE’s Kane Film Renamed Once Again

Dillon A. writes in regarding WWE and Lions Gate Films’ horror film starring Kane, which was originally titled I Scream Man and then Goodnight, “Hey guys, just thought I’d send this along. WWE Films has filed a registration with the US Copyright Office for the horror movie their wrestler Kane starred in. The new name is See No Evil. The WWE are still trying to get the movie into theaters across America with a direct-to-DVD release as a last resort.” Gregory Dark’s film concerns a group of delinquent kids cleaning up a hotel as part of their community service.
