This movie sucked. The kills were lame and the story was really thin. The main villian was really boring also.. Ohh my mommy beat me boo hoo!
The only thing I liked about this movie was the ending. Other than that, the kills were obvious and stupid, the killer was cool, so were the flashbacks, but come on! It is a very predictable movie.
okay, leaning toward the bad side.
ok this movie wasnt that bad but for the theater it was but for a made for tv movie is would have been very good! Some of the death scenes were cool like for example (**SPOILER**) When he shoved the cell phone done the girls throat(**end Spoiler**) I’m sure I wasnt the only one who rooted for her to live. The filming was decent and the acting was actually pretty good so was the script like in the movie the actors did some of the things that in real life someone would do!
see no evil is awesome! I love how he takes every ones eyes out it rocks! I see the sin missing this movie! every one should have a see no evil saturday like me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really did not like this. The villain was creepy, but the actors, generally, were not very good and seemed almost entirely uninterested. The plot was bland as well… but it wasn’t the worst I’ve seen. (That trophy belongs to One Missed Call, the remake, for those who are wondering.)
I really liked it, I’m also a fan of Kane. He looks good in this movie.
IM rating this movie an 8 because somthings didnt make sence and i really like the gore in it
fails in plot and interest, characters that you could care less about getting killed by an uninteresting (by script) villian who has the look and feel of something scary, but in the end feels to slapped together
feeeels like a typical 90s slasher that just cliched they lil gore it had was the only reason why i kept on
Unusual but entertaining none the less.
I thought that this movie was pretty decent, an entertaining slasher movie not as good as halloween or friday the 13th but still pretty good.
Storyline: A group of criminals are sent to clean up a hotel for community service but little do they know a deranged eye fetish maniac is also in the hotel, he locks them in and thats when they killing begins. 8/10
Acting: Fairly average, no real stand out actors, kane looked freaky as shit and he did a pretty good job. 6/10
Special Effects: Oh boy is this movie gory. I mean just the thought is gory, a psycho with a hook chain who likes to rip out peoples eyes and put them in jars. Nice stuff if you ask me, everything looked realistic, the blood looked real, the eyes looked real and kanes death looked really good aswell. 9/10
Best Scene: When kane stuffs the girls cell phone down her throat. 7/10
Ending: Kane gets a pole in his eye and he falls from a window from a great height. 7/10
Overall this movie was nothing different then an every day slasher movie, the only different thing about it was the eye gouging scenes, and even that isn’t very imaginative. I give this movie a 7/10
My best friend and I watched this movie and LOVED it! The killer was a very interesting character; he seemed so ruthless and evil, thriving on blasphemy, but after a few flashbacks you could see that it wasn’t really his fault. I also like the children’s sunday school music playing in the background of certain scenes- it added a nice creepy touch!
I liked this movie because the killer had a more original back story then some of these other slasher movie. it had a few suspensiful moments in, the flies were a nice touch. the killings themselves were very gory and creative. Kane makes a good killer.
Good slasher movie with lots of kills with blood and gore. Kane does a good job without saying few words. Hold onto your eyeballs though. Definitely worth watching.
hey jeffpm maybe if you stop trying to predict the movie then you will enjoy it… did that ever occur to you? i liked this movie, but the deaths could have been better than what they were…
I made the mistake of buying this film. I didnt like it due to the horrible acting but had the one scene I really liked when the chick broke her arm and the dogs ate her. I thought that was the best part of the movie. Also to many people lived.
One of my “guilty pleasure” movies. It’s a WWE film starring a wrestler and a handful of teens in an abandoned hotel… not something I would generally not something I would normally even watch. However, the movie had lots of good gore and the acting in fact wasn’t all that bad. Definitely a better-than-average slasher.
It’s no They Live, but it’s good.
Not great.
never should have happened, what a waste of film…yuck!!!
I loved it! Before Jason and Michael came back it made me think of the old great slasher films like those.I was hoping it would make a killing at the box office and become a series.Kane rocked!
I thought it was great… uber amounts of gore an im he biggest Michael J. Pagan fan ever…If you like slasher youll love this… Michael is also goin to be starring in another slasher called Chain Letter… Cant wait until the release date… ill check back with blooding disgusting..
had some elements that i really usually like, but i think it still sucked balls.
should have been called DONT SEE NO EVIL
it was a good movie.
kane is a scary mother fucking monster man
but it had some things that made me pissed the acting wasnt that great but hey how many horror films do you know have great acting not the many.
Here is a prime example of a movie that by no means should ever be made, but it’s trying to capitalize on this new brutal trend in horror movies (in other words, it’s the Poison of torture porn) and Lionsgate is releasing as many as possible no matter how bad so, here it is; in all it’s shitty annoying cliched glory. Enjoy.
i thought this movie was great, but not enough to earn a theatrical release…it even looks and feels direct to video and probably would’ve done better had it gone that route. the effects are great, and even the acting is good enough. some nice death scenes here as well!!
What a piece of crap.
a pretty dumb movie. [:
yes this movie has gore, but wrestlers playing scary guys just dont work. Bad movie
better than i expected
sick movie, some good kill scenes
Despite this being a wrestling foundation movie, I was very suprised at the sheet volume of it. I loved it, and still do. Don’t get me wrong, I hated the acting, which was the only downer, but everything else just got its self heard. Wonderful, gory scenes, a great, twisted plot and some cool characters that you won’t forget, which is hard for a movie to do nowa – days. See No Evil is a simple, plotted slash “n” hack movie, but the plot is very well done to a point in which you think, wow, these guys really thought this movie through first. Despite corny acting from the dumb, but enjoyable Americans, See No Evil is a perfect, gory horror movie that should be viewed in a dark room, at midnight, with a hell load of popcorn.
8/10
This is a very good movie. Creepy and raw. Very scary!
I liked this movie. Some of the death scenes i thought they were great. The acting was pretty good, the story wasn’t terrible. If your a fan of the slashers, i’d give this one a check.
First of all… WRESTLING and HORROR MOVIES don’t match!!! Wrestlers are bad actors. Cast them in a movie, and you get a bad movie!! Not only that, the movie itself was bad! Not scary! Not gory! What the hell?!
And the whole taking out of eyes was annoying!! I couldn’t help but smile when Kane died. By that time I knew the movie was about to end. If I see Big Show in See No Evil 2, I am seriously gonna get pissed.
Epic. Stop hating it because you don’t think Wrestling is ‘real’ enough. If someone can kill someone with a fucking cell phone in a film it’s epic.
Better than average slasher. Couldn’t give a shit if it was Kane or some no-name playing the villain, it doesn’t affect my rating. Original kills and it messes around with some slasher cliches. I’m glad I saw this in a theater, had a lot of fun.
Kane was the best actor in this fun and dumb slasher. The movie is very enjoyable, predictable, unintentionally funny, and has decent gore effects! The best part are the two family members deaths at the end especially Kanes!Warning:Don’t watch sober!
bloooooooooooooooooooood
let me tell u something . This Movie is Realy Fucking Crap . kane was fucking goof in this movie
See no evil? More like don’t see this film
not too bad:P
I wasn’t expecting too much from this, but it kinda surprised me. Kane was a fuckin beast and I didn’t expect it to be as brutal as it was. Yeah, the story is not too strong as well as the acting, but seriously we don’t expect Academy award worthy acting. Not great, but definitely not bad either. Any gorehound will be satisfied when the credits roll.
entertaining film that was better than I thought it would be.
See No Evil was awesome, Kane did a really good job of acting, and this movie was pretty good. Kane is one of my favorite wrestle stars. This movie will scare you to death.
Crap.
1 out of 10 from me; but the site doesn’t let you do that anymore. Shame.
“See No Evil” is a film that is violent, ugly, witless, and stupid. It isn’t often that you come across a film this bland, yet here we are. As a horror fan, I was just genuinely angered by the weak, senseless treatment of the movie’s narrative material; and to top it off, nothing else works in the slightest. It may get a small audience for one of its stars, Kane (a professional wrestler), but that’s it. Otherwise, the whole thing is a mess; and I barely came out alive from what is quite possibly one of the worst films of the 2000′s.
Two police officers do an investigation of a presumably abandoned house that ends with one getting hacked to death by an axe wielded by a giant brute of a man and the other losing an arm at the mercy of the same attacker. However, the surviving cop is able to shoot his assailant in the back of the head, and it is then that he presumes his job is done.
However, years later, such thoughts are put to the test. We see the same policeman again, but this time, he is accompanying a bus filled with delinquents to an old, dirtied hotel run by an elderly woman who cannot give it the ol’ cleaner-upper single-handedly. I feel no need to name the delinquents, the police officer, or the innocent old hotel keeper because all characters here are irrelevant. You won’t care about any of them. Not for a second.
Upon the arrival to the hotel, the filmmakers are walking an over-used but potentially intriguing path by making us wait for things to happen. I can’t say I was involved during these moments; far too much talking and over-indulgence for me to actually enjoy myself. The mistake of those behind the camera is that they give us stupid, annoying characters and dull visuals to stare at for all those “tension building moments”, which are less “building” than one should (or would) be lead to expect.
The hotel is home to hidden evil; to be precise, the same man that attacked the police officer. It’s not quite touched upon how the officer with one arm was able to get out of the house from the film’s opening scenes if the attacker had not be pronounced dead, but in a film without logic, nobody cares and nobody should.
Knowing that the big man (Kane) is just around the corner, waiting to slice up each evil-doing delinquent, you know how the rest of the film will go; he will kill, they will scream and run, we will snore. “See No Evil” is appallingly bad in how it lives by the stereotypes that cannot be ignored in the world of the slasher film; it’s a needless accumulation of all the things about movies that I resent.
I can’t say anything good about this movie. It looks bad. It sounds bad. The hotel is creepy at moments (especially when there’s no characters in the frame, oh joy!) and in others, uninspired. I’ve already said all that I can about the characters and the story. Perhaps I must discuss the psychopath at the center of it as well. He too, like the people he is stalking and subjecting to sadistic torture, is flat-out boring. The writers tried – ever so hard – to give him the kind of back story that makes horror movie villains like this work, but each flashback and every additional detail is so poorly done that you lack any sympathy. On the brighter side of things, Kane is convincing – if only visually – as his villain character. He lacks the emotions that his character should lack; but he never quite gets the part down as I would have wanted him to.
Do I see no evil? I would say that, in the end, I actually do. In fact, I see a lot of evil. Evil that attempts to assault the audience’s intelligence. Evil that doesn’t understand how to balance the conventions and clichÃ
This movie was confusing at times and was quite odd, however I enjoyed it quite a bit.
