DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
THIS MOVIE SUCKS. It’s NOT EVEN ONE OF THOSE ‘FUN’ HORROR / COMEDY MOVIES. I WOULD GIVE IT 0 SKULLS IF IT WERE POSSIBLE.
Kinda fun, rather boring, occasionally quite funny. Not awful, but it will rightfully get lost in the immense jumble of zombie films coming out in the last… what now, 5 years?
It was apparently made around the same time as Shaun of the Dead, unfortunately it wasn’t released until just recently or it might have retained some more originality, and kept my attention longer.
Bottom line: Not bad, I don’t consider my night wasted, but don’t expect to be blown away.
I can’t believe I rented this.
I thought the movie was great fun!
pretty boring and stupid.
I thought it would be a funny horror but I was wrong
OK. Pretty funny though. Worth a rental at least.
Probably one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. It’s neither an horror or a comedy. It tries to be both, getting to be none. Mega boring!
This is a lame movie and just plain stupid story line don’t even rent it unless really bored its so bad.
Riding on the back of Shaun of the dead, this film is really rather bland and unfortunately boring.
reminds me of My Boyfriend’s Back.. Anyone? haha
Wow this was horrible.
Billed as a romantic zombedy this foul excuse for a horror flick hardly manages to emphasize on either category. Was this made by Disney?
There is a lot of teen blah and some goofy priest/book/snake connection junk before any action, but the characters are watchable enough. Not a whole lot of gore and death, but dug the woodchipping-mobile scene and the decimation of some high school deaders. An ok view.
The Ultimate Movie Review! – http://tss5078.blogspot.com – @tss5078 – Since starting The Walking Dead, I’ve been on a bit of a zombie craze, and decided it was time to check out and old movie that had a really interesting cover. Unfortunately, the cover is the only interesting thing about Boy Eats Girl. This was a low budget, independent film, made in Ireland, and boy does it show. The story centers around teenage Nathan, played by a much older guy, who is having girl problems. Nathan is all worried about his female trouble, when he has a fatal accident, or at least one that should be fatal. His mom, not wanting to let go of her son, uses an ancient book on voodoo to bring her son back. The story was very typical for this kind of film, however the budget was so low that parts of it looked like an episode of Goosebumps. Technical I suppose the movie is still considered rated R because of gore, even when the blood looks like V8 juice, but this film is anything but scary. Boy Eats Girl, promises a zombie film for the ages, but it’s more laughable than anything else. The film is a mess of mumbled line and some of the worst effects I have ever seen.
This movie got the bad taste out of my mouth after seeing blood car, this movie however is was fun movie.
Even this movie had stereotype teens, who looked like they in mids 20′s playing teens, if you can get past that.
You ended up really enjoying this movie.
A boy declares his love for his girlfriend, only to die the same night. He is brought back to life by his mother as a flesh-craving zombie
I found this movie so-what Original, with mum bringing back her son after he killed himself.
Also enjoyed some really decent funny moments in this movie that work really well with the rest of the movie.
There were some really good bloody messy scenes in this movie, which were fun to watch. 7 out of 10
