This is the best film Stuart Gordon has made since From Beyond, and yes I love Re Animator, and yes Dolls wasnt bad either and I realize it was after from beyond, but like i stated stuck is the best since from beyond in terms of entertaining horror/comedy, this movie is pretty simple, but in terms of unpredictability it was pretty good in that i really didnt know what was going to happen next in the film, obviously a guy stuck in a windshield sounds possibly boring, but dont judge a book by it’s cover and keep in mind it’s a stuart gordon film and for that you should realize he will bring at least a little bit of experienced filmaking in it,
the film overwall was cast very well, the acting seemed very believable, the fact that nobody would notice a man in a windshield flying down the street seems hard to believe, but as most movies go, you need to stretch your mind and allow some plot to happen in order to enjoy it.

This one of the best movies ive seen in a long time. The acting was great and this crime actually happened a few years back is even more shocking. Mena Suvari is freakn hot.

This movie was actually pretty damn good I thought. I honestly cant agree with the 2 out of 5 skulls.

I just thought it was a good movie to watch… might not be replay worthy but its good enough to watch at least once, had me going up to the end.

this was a good movie. it was a lot better than i thought it was gonna be. the acting was good, and the story was interesting. this dude just couldn’t get a break! it was much, much gorier than i thought it would be too, which was a nice surprise. i’m not quite sure if it was meant to be a comedy or a horror/drama, because some parts were really funny, like the frying pan bit, and some parts were serious and tense, like how we see him trying to escape and lodge himself free from the windshield. either way, it’s pretty entertaining.

An powerful movie inspired by an actual event that took place on October 26, 2001 when a intoxicated driver struck a man which lodged the man in the windshield and just drove home, parked in the garage, went inside and had sex with her boyfriend and just left the man in the windshield of her car begging for his life. There isn’t much stuff to say about this movie without spoiling it, but I thought the performances were good and it kept me on the edge of my seat til the end and there is a surprising twist to the story which was unsuspecting and I loved it. Overall if you want something different from the norm and a powerful, shocking story rent this now! Recommended!

Entertaining, not great or anything. The ending was totally stupid and unbelievable, like they had to make a cliche thriller ending.

Overall, not bad but could have been so much better.

This movie was just out there now if I was high maybe it would of been good to watch but it was like being with a drunk person who was crazy and your sober……Now this dude is hit by a car and he is able to kill a dude with pencil great one……also the little dog found him wonder how many doggie treats needed for that one….it was a mess of a movie I am glad it was from the library so I didn;t pay at all except watching it.

Very well acted film from Stuart Gordon. What starts as the film based on a true story thankfully twists its way into a fictionalized account of the infamous story. Rea and Suvari are exceptional in the very difficult roles of the lead characters. For those out there not familiar it is the story of a Nurses Aide who while intoxicated on booze and X hits a man who gets stuck in her windshield. The sick part is she does not do ANYTHING about it. Gordon showed a skilled hand when dealing with what could have been pure camp! Thumbs up!!!

So, Stuck was inspired by a true story. That is strange. Listening to the commentary, I’m not quite sure it was intended to be quite as funny as it turned out to be. It’s pretty hilarious… but I did squirm as much as I laughed. I’d call it a grade “A” black comedy horror film. However, it starts off slowly. In fact, I almost turned it off, wondering, “Where the heck is this going?” But stick with it like I did, because it gets totally good. But let me give you a pop quiz to determine if you will enjoy it: 1) If your intestines fell out of your belly, landed on the floor, and then while you stared in horror, you accidentally tripped over them, would you laugh? 2) Do you think lighting robots on fire* is the best use of fire since fire was invented? 3) Does the phrase “dying of laughter” make you laugh? Especially the “dying” part? 4) Do you think Elmo’s pelt would make a suitable plush red rug in front of your fireplace? 5) Do you dream of one day re-animating Jeffry Combs’ movie career? (He’s great on Star Trek, isn’t he?) 6) Do the words”carotid” and “artery” sound funny to you? 7) Is Halloween your favorite holiday… and movie? 8) Is Castle Freak your ideal vacation destination? 9) Complete the following statement: Stuart Gordan is a) a genius, b) a sick and twisted freak, c) your uncle 10) Do you rate all of my absurd reviews “helpful”? (You should.) If you answered “yes,” “no,” and “all of the above” to each of these questions, what are you waiting for? Get Stuck today! (*This reviewer does not endorse lighting anything on fire. Robots are professionals, and they should only be lit on fire under controlled circumstances.) (No robots were harmed in the making of this review.)

A delightfully gruesome and cynical dark comedy that deftly combines social satire with Gordons affinity for the macabre. Another winner to add to Gorden’s filmography

Official Score: 2 / 5
