Just because its a classic doesnt mean its scary, its gay
karloff is great at playing monsters for his ability to use language through his eyes and movements, he’s great in this role, and i cant believe they went with 4 or 5 sequels without him.
A fine film all around, and certainly one of Karloff’s best performances. An absolute classic that any true fan of horror must see and appreciate.
Another universal classic, Boris Karloff is another hero in horror history
Love it! Classic, classic, classic!
First, it needs to be addressed… Zita Johann? Hot. Totally hot. As in I would travel through time just so I could gay for her. Now that that’s out of the way… Some great performances (Karloff, who can pretty much talk through his eyes; Johann, when she’s acting as the Vestal Virgin), great makeup work (the mummy!), and kick ass backgrounds and costumes. Still, the movie dragged, the creepy moments were few and far between, and other than Karloff and Johann, the other actors were pretty unmemorable. Still, worth watching and good for rainy days.
