DEFINETLY one of my favorite universal monster classics !
it never gets old for me !
are they seriously in the makings of a re make though ???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!
boooooo
!
Creature is one of those films, like Frankenstein, drcaula, all of the universal monsters, that paved the the way for horror and monster films alike!!!
Creature is one of my favorite films, for the Characters(Richard Carlson, and Julie Adams)
The amazing scenery(the amazon, which was filmed mostly in Florida)
and the coolest looking monster to ever hit the screen!!
Its a horror movie, but also a love story, whatever way you look at it. One of the best Horror films of all time!!
I give this film, a Perfect 10!!!!
the annoying theme of the creature killed this movie for me, for some reason they felt it necessary to play this one annoying theme every single time you see the damn creature.
i prefer the second one of the trilogy.
Awesome movie. I found it better then NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Great special effects for the time.
such a classi my favorite of the older movie monsters!
a classic, a must watch in my opinion.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon is just one of those classic Universal Studios Monsters films that cannot get a bad review. One of the greatest of it’s time and the makers had to go through a lot to make this with underwater shots and no access to the types of effects we have access to today and may see in the remake (if there is one – which I’d love to see). The creature was always my favorite Universal Studios monster and I had gotten my hands on a costume at one point (it was very expensive), but it was only for rent. I am going back to the store soon, however, to see if it is for sale now. For being one of the greatest and most original horror films in history, I have to give this movie a 9.5/10 (rounded to a 10).
I love this movie, was one of the first horror movies I saw when I was about four and it is such an underrated classic.
This is the reason I got into horror from an early age. I got the Universal Monsters collection for my 6th or 7th birthday and of all the movies in there, this was my favorite. It’s amazing. It’s simple and elegant. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The Creature, in my opinion, is the best monster movie ever. If you get a chance to watch this, take advantage of that opportunity! You will not be disappointed.
A timeless classic!What a great flick!
Most definatly one of my favorite classic monster movies. Talks of a remake…hopefully they will keep it original and do good with it.
I love this movie.
Im glad I finally got to watch this and Im glad I wasn’t let down. This is a very good black and white monster movie. You owe it to yourself to watch this at least once in your life. Very good.
A Universal classic! But what’s with the lipstick on the creatures mouth in the posters?
One of the very best, I love this movie, 1000/10 my favorite out of all the Universal Monster flicks.
