This movie is great especially for the time that it came out. I was blown away and for a tales from the crypt title, which is normally very full fo cheese this one is not. This movie works well and is also fun with humor but good creatures and effects. The second one is a horrible follow up.

One of the most underrated horror movies in my opinion. And my love for this movie has nothing to do with the show. I actually dislike Tales From The Crypt, and I would love to see that opening scene taken out. Other than that, this is an awesome movie, and it was the first time I had heard Pantera, so props on that aswell.

This movie is a blast from start to finish!! A great little horror tale filled with loads of blood, gore ,cool freakin’ monsters, throw in an evil wise crackin’ Billy Zane plus the good old crypt keeper and you have a fun movie experience. I love it.

One of my favorite movies, it had an original storyline and great actors to go along with it. Billy Zane was great as the collector, he brings comic relief and terror at the same time. Those demons that came out of the ground were pretty scary to.

The first & best Tales from the Crypt presents feature Demon Knight is a whole lotta fun. Its gory, creepy & funny as hell! Billy Zane gives, in my opinion, his best performance ever! Sit back & enjoy.

Wicked humour and some truly gross scenes make this a bag of Halloween treats I would devour again and again.

By far one of my favorite films. It never gets old, and is something I can watch over and over again. Pinkett-Smith and Zane are brilliant.

This movie exceeded the term corny, but in this film’s case that’s not really a bad thing. Every shot of this movie feels like a panel from a comic book. It’s funny, the characters are pretty likable, and some of the special effects are pretty fucking killer. An extremely fun movie. I would highly recommend this movie to a friend.

This is a high quality b-movie right here. It’s funny and has lots of gore. The demons are well done, and Billy Zane is awesome as the collector. I’m still praying to the horror gods for a sequal.

Special mention has to be made for BORDELLO OF BLOOD. It’s the Tales from the crypt movie that came out a few years later. It is really funny. Dennis Miller is great as the wisecracking private eye. It’s cheesy, but in a good way, and it has tons of blood. Definitely worth seeing.
Bordello of blood : 4/5 skulls.

Honestly, it’s pretty bad, but it’s bad in a good way. You’ll be entertained from start to finish.

The gore and blood are amazingly grotesque, there are plenty of jumps and holy shit moments, and more one-liners than you could ever ask for.

The “whore beast” is where D Knight starts to kick it: face falling apart, throwing people around, tearing a limb off, shotgun blast to the dome, etc. What a cast: Jada Pinkett, Zane, Sadler, Hayden Church. Zane stands out in particular for his evil charm as The Collector–has some good lines and seems to have fun with it. Some cool old-school makeup and moster gore effects, too (but can pass on the 80′s style neon eye beams and blood–don’t miss those effects). D Knight is cheese, but it is fun cheese.
