Soon to be married to the man she loves, Margarita's (Luz Mara Aguilar) happiness is almost complete. Still, she cannot understand why her uncle, Don Gerardo (Carlos Lopez Moctezuma), remains adamant in his objection to the union. Going ahead with her plan nonetheless, Margarita soon bears a child, Jorgito, who comes to absorb all her time and attention. But when Gerardo tells a family member in confidence about the curse upon their kin, reputedly passed down from the Weeping Woman who years past was compelled to kill her own children, the secret is soon spilled to Jorgito. The son thus takes it upon himself to put an end to the curse, targeting his own mother in his efforts to save the family. This Mexican B-movie from 1960 is based on a well-known Latin ghost story.
