Two new indies have begun casting, although no names have been revealed just yet.
Joel Schumacher’s The Hive, penned by Rich D’Ovidio, has begun looking for actors for a August shoot. The location and date are not set in stone as this production could end up being delayed. The pic “centers on an emergency operator who must confront a killer from her past to save a young girl’s life.”
Also on the shooting block is a new indie by the name of The Red House. Penned and being directed by Gregory Avellone, the pic will lens this June in Altadena, CA.
As dictated to Bloody, the 3-D pic centers on a female who inherits a sweet new house in the middle of the woods. She invites a bunch of her friends on a trip to check out the new pad, only to find themselves in the middle of a bloodbath.
