Universal Pictures’ R.I.P.D. is getting post-converted to 3-D for its July 19 release. What’s even more interesting is that they’ve been filming additional scenes for months, which begs the question, are they shooting the new scenes in 3-D? I doubt it. Robert Schwentke directs the Dark Horse Comics adaptation in which a recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him.
