Synopsis

The films begins after renting her guest house to a stranger (Arquette), Bree (Dalton) soon discovers he is not the perfect tenant she thought he would be.

Long: Chloe (Dalton) and Michael Carpenter (Brown), a struggling suburban couple, have no idea what they’re in for when they rent out the cottage behind their house to a quiet, charming romance novelist named Robert Mars (Arquette). It appears that Mr. Mars was looking for much more than a place to rent. Chloe begins to suspect he’s not who he says he is and she soon realizes that she’s in the fight of her life to protect herself and her family.
