Battlefield 3. What more could I possibly say about this game? It looks ridiculously incredible. Every new video or trailer that’s released makes me sad and angry. Sad and angry that the damn game isn’t already in my Xbox taking over my free time and ruining my life (in a good way).
October 25th is the day. PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360. READ MORE
GAMESRADAR is releasing self made episodes of Dead Island: Origins every week on Tuesday. This weeks episode the guys arrive on Dead Island, and they are a little too excited about it. Check it out below!

Co-op XBLA campaign?! YES! Although Halo 2 was my starting point, so many years ago, I still can’t wait for Anniversary. November 15th, Xbox 360. READ MORE
Those of you Playstation 3ers who still play around with Playstation Home will be excited to know Dead Island is making its way Home sometime before the games release. The zombies will make their way into home and turn the place on its head.
But that isn’t all, you and 3 friends will get to play zombie mini games together. Up to 10 different zombie mini games. If you complete all 10 mini games you will get an exclusive in game weapon. Exploding meat. I don’t know what it does, but I take my exploding meat rare. Dead Island fans should keep up on the mini games, as every week they will be releasing challenges where the player can win items for use in the actual game. More past the break. READ MORE
It’s finally happening. Goldeneye is coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. And it looks AMAZING. I couldn’t be more happy or in awe right now. The original Goldeneye was released back in the 40s on the Nintendo 64, and it was/is a groundbreaking game. It took up a good portion of my life back in the days of disco. And it’s finally, FINALLY made it’s way to the big time. Though it was re-released on the Wii, I still craved it for Xbox Live. Check out the teaser below.
Reloaded is going to be in HD, running at 60 frames per second, and also be compatible with the Playstation Move’s Sharp Shooter. They’ve improved everything, building the game on a brand new engine. Up to 16 player multiplayer battles, improved 4 player split screen, new missions, maps, characters, game modes AH I’m so excited! More past the break!! READ MORE

You can enter to win HERE!READ MORE
It’s only natural that HOTODEC would get re-released on the Playstation Move. In the same vein as Dead Space: Extraction, it would seem like we are probably going to see a lot more games like this that were Wiisclusives released for the Move. Clearly because they can make the games look much better, and they can make some extra cash. Check out the trailer from Comic-con below.
House Of The Dead: Overkill Extended Cut will be out in full HD and 3D on October 25th for the Playstation Move. READ MORE
Capcom’s revitalizing two classic Resident Evil titles, with hopefully more to come in the future, and thanks to Comic-Con we finally have release dates for both Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X. The good news is we won’t have to wait long as both games are releasing this September.
Resident Evil 4 will become available on September 20 with Code Veronica X following a week later on the 27th. Still no word on what these games are charging but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were somewhere around the premium arcade game price of $15. READ MORE
In the wake of Freddy being added to the Mortal Kombat roster, it got me thinking about TerrorDrome: Rise Of The Boogeymen. If you don’t remember what it is (but you should), it’s basically like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter except with horror icons as the fighters. Check it out HERE!
Any who, after heading to their WEBSITE, and reading some surprisingly old news, I’ve come to find out Orion and Warner Brothers had them pull Freddy, Jason, and Ash. And that really sucks. So it would seem they pulled the game for right now since 3 main characters are gone. However they do suggest to the fans of the game writing or contacting the companies and complaining. Though I doubt they would have the amount of fans/push to make anything happen. Maybe we could start a Bloody Disgusting Selects video game series…. READ MORE
The first game in Xbox Live’s annual Summer of Arcade event is out and if Bastion is any indication of how amazing the rest of the games are going to be then this year could end up being better than the last. For the uninitiated, Bastion is an action/adventure RPG with a gorgeous hand-drawn art style, a beautiful world that builds itself right before your eyes, and an innovative dynamic narration system (more on that later). I usually shy away from covering things like this but if it turns out to be true this is just too exciting not to share. An intriguing rumor has just started making its rounds about the vast and knowledgeable bundle of tubes we call the Internet, and this time it’s regarding the long-awaited Resident Evil 6. Supposedly, the next installment in Capcom’s longstanding action/horror franchise will be officially unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show this september. What could end up being the game’s logo was taken from a closed doors press conference at Comic-Con. Check it out.
The date below the logo reads September 15th, so we can probably expect the info to hit then. Mark the date on your calendar because if this rumor is true we could end up hearing something about this highly anticipated game sooner than expected. Let’s just hope they took our advice and brought the series back to its horror roots. READ MORE
I do believe that October is going to blow all our minds. It’s a busy, busy month, and one I’m looking forward to very much. On television we’re getting a second season of The Walking Dead, in theaters we’ll have Paranormal Activity 3 (check out its new trailer!) and The Thing, and on the video game front we’re getting Dark Souls, Rage, Twisted Metal, The Darkness 2, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Battlefield 3, and of course, Batman: Arkham City. Check out a brand new trailer for the game, you can find it nestled safely under this grouping of words.
This is the second villain trailer we’ve seen, the first was all about The Riddler. The Penguin is looking older and grumpier than usual and he definitely has a face that I’d very much like to punch. As if this trailer wasn’t enough, head past the break for a little extra news. One could even go so far as to call it… sexy news. READ MORE
Gotham City Impostors is a 1st person shooter, yes, and FPS, that is coming out on the PC, Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade. You basically get to dress yourself up like either super heroes, or villains, and go to town on each other with tons of fun weaponry. Check out the excellent trailer below.
Sure, it’s no Arkham City but it should be a lot of fun for a smallish price tag upon its release in early 2012. You’ll be able to pick it up for $14.99 on the PSN and PC, and 1200 Microsoft Monopoly Bucks on Xbox Live. READ MORE
Aliens seems to be a video game title that isn’t going to go away anytime soon. With the release of the sub par Aliens Vs Predator, and Aliens: Colonial Marines FINALLY getting close to an actual release, why not release a classic 2D side scroller on the Nintendo Ds?
I have to say, it looks like fun! Definitely has that old skool Contra look to it. Aliens: Infestation is coming out in September, and you’ll get a chance to venture into the Sulaco, the Derelict ship, and LV-426. You can recruit and play as 19 different marines, while exploring the expanded Aliens universe. Screens past the break. READ MORE
We still have a few months left to wait before Silent Hill: Downpour throws some much needed horror our way, but that’s not going to stop me from giving you a bunch of new screenshots. In fact, if you’re really hurting for some wet Silent Hill action you can stare at these screens, play some Downpour tunes, close your eyes and imagine that you’re playing the game right now. While you’re at it you can bring me into your fantasy, wearing nothing but those snazzy polka dot boxers Vincent wears in Catherine. I don’t mind.
For some reason we still haven’t been given a release date for Silent Hill: Downpour, other than a wide October window. From what we’ve seen of the game so far it’s shaping up nicely, so hopefully it’ll bring the series back to its former glory when it comes out later this year. If it doesn’t, well, that’ll make me really angry, and you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.READ MORE
SoulCalibur gets Star Wars figures, I say meh. Dead or Alive gets a Spartan, I say who cares?Mortal Kombat gets Kratos and now it’s also getting Freddy Fucking Kreuger? I think I just wet myself in a totally manly way. Since its release there’s been a steady trickling of new characters that began with Scarlet and was followed by Kenshi and Rain. Now they’re taking everything to the next level with the burned man from all our nightmares, Freddy Kreuger. See him in action below.
I’m not one to complain when awesome things to happen so all I’ll say is I would’ve preferred the classic Freddy, versus the new Jackie Earle Haley version. But really, who cares? We get to kick ass as Freddy Kreuger. You might be wondering when this scrumptious manmuffin will be making his way to Mortal Kombat? Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long; Freddy gives us a much needed dose of nightmarish hack ‘n slash when Freddy releases on August 9th. READ MORE
Announced not long after Capcom revealed their Resident Evil: Revival Selection, Konami let loose their plans to remaster Silent Hill 2 and 3 in the Remastered Collection. Unlike Resident Evil, the new and improved Silent Hills will be exclusive to the PS3 (at least for the time being), but at least many gamers who missed these fantastic games the first time around will now have the opportunity to experience them with updated visuals.
The Remastered Collection is expected to release sometime in September or October, though no solid release date has been revealed yet. What’s even more exciting is the inclusion of full trophy support and updated in-game voice work from Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who’s singing has appeared in almost every game in the main series. Head past the break for a few screenshots, unfortunately we don’t yet have a screen of the Pyramid Head mannequin rape scene but since I know many of you are clamoring to see it I will make it my duty to bring you a screenshot of that sometime in the near future. Have you heard? Catherine’s coming out on next week and it’s supposed to be pretty good. If you’re not sure about spending your hard-earned money on it, the game’s demo is is also available, but if you’re a fan of gorgeous, raunchy, and occasionally hilarious games then Catherine isn’t likely to disappoint. If you’re unfamiliar with it, this game can best be described as an interactive anime with some naughty tendencies and a bizarre fetish for really big babies and demonic sheep. Check it out below.
Catherine releases on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 26th and you can expect our review of the game to go up sometime around then. READ MORE
I almost glanced over The Dark Meadow as I was perusing through some video game stuffs, but I’m glad I stopped. The Dark Meadow is an iOS game that runs on the Unreal 3 game engine. “From the start, our vision for The Dark Meadow was to create a top-tier console gaming experience that works on iOS devices from 3GS to iPad 2,” said Chip Sineni, Director of Phosphor Games Studios. “From the real-time cinematics and in-depth storyline, to the gesture-based ranged and melee combat systems, our goal is to integrate the best of hardcore console gaming with the intuitive ease of the casual mobile world.”
In The Dark Meadow you awake in a hospital unsure of how exactly you got there. You meet an old man who tells you there is a witch controlling horrible minions through out the hospital will the soul purpose of killing you. The only way out? Kill the witch. More past the break. READ MORE
There is no doubt about it. Final Fantasy games usually graphically look better than just about every game on the market. Well the screens past the break prove just that. They also show off the Bresha Ruins, one of the many new areas in FF XIII-2.
I suppose I should get back into beating Final Fantasy XIII before moving on to XIII-2 when it is released in early 2012 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I suppose you all should do the same. I spose. READ MORE
As if the title wasn’t enough to sell you on this game already, let me take a moment to fill you in on exactly what Lollipop Chainsaw is all about. First off, it stars a zombie slaying cheerleader named Juliet Starling, who has to use her incredible acrobatic skills and an assortment of cheerleading moves to vanquish the zombies that attack her school. It’s also an action/horror game that’s being worked on by Suda 51′s Grasshopper Manufacture, otherwise known as the team behind the mind-blowingly incredible Shadows of the Damned.
Not quite sold? How about the fact that Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka is scoring the soundtrack? Still not sold? Man, you’re a tough sell. If I were a car dealer this is the point that I’d start pulling out the big guns, so I think I’ll do just that. Lollipop Chainsaw has pretty pink gore. That’s right, there’s no need to rub your eyes and re-read that last sentence because you read it right the first time. This game has pink blood. Oh, and it’ll also be coming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Now wipe yourself off and head past the break for some screenshots. READ MORE
If you pre-order Halo: Anniversary you get yourself a nice bonus. The Grunt Funeral Skull makes it so each grunt upon their death, explodes like they were stuck with a plasma grenade. To some people that doesn’t sound like a great pre-order bonus. I however, don’t agree.
As you can tell from the video above that when they explode after death, the explosion can injure other enemies resulting in a lot of bonus explosion death. However, one would argue that the explosions could harm the good guys as well. So it can be good and bad. I like explosions so I think it’s going to be pretty kick ass. Just be careful when you melee them, get the hell out of there! Ahem, Halo: Anniversary is set to release on November 15th of this year for the XBox 360. READ MORE
I have a very unhealthy obsession with the undead. Tell me a movie, game, book, or porno has a zombie in it, in literally any capacity, and I’m immediately excited for it. There are no exceptions to this rule. I’m also a fan of playing with friends so a game that lets me fight alongside my friends against waves of zombies as we build traps, fortify defenses and all to the backdrop of some cool rock and roll tunes had me pretty excited. Then I downloaded the game, launched it, listened to the Elvis-style tunes that immediately greeted me, and jumped right in. READ MORE
