Arrow Video Unleashes ‘Re-Animator’ and ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ Steelbooks

Arrow Video announced this afternoon that they’ve teamed up with Zavvi in the UK and FYE in the US to release limited edition Steelbook Blu-rays of Re-Animator and The Hills Have Eyes, both titles featuring new artwork exclusive to these releases.

Here in the United States, the Steelbook Blu-rays will release on May 22 and are now available for pre-order on FYE’s site, while they’ll be releasing in the UK on June 11.

It looks like both will contain all the bonus content from Arrow’s previous Blu-rays.

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
