Olivia Wilde gets demonic in these new images from Relativity Studios’ The Lazarus Effect, opening in theaters February 27, 2015.
From what I gathered out of the film’s first trailer, the Flatliners-esque film begins when Mark Duplass (Creep) resurrects Wilde in sort of a throwback to Pet Sematary. Only, in a very Event Horizon-like scene, it appears that Wilde’s character is brought back from Hell, and brings along everyone’s own personal demons. It looks pretty cool, and was penned by hot up-and-coming writer Jeremy Slater.
Evan Peters and Donald Glover also star in the pic “about a group of medical students who discover a way to bring dead patients back to life.”
