Vision Films has picked up worldwide sales rights on Stephanie Joalland’s sci-fi thriller The Quiet Hour, starring Dakota Blue Richards (The Golden Compass) and Karl Davis (“Game of Thrones”), reports Variety.
The pic, which is produced by Sean McConville of U.K.-based Frenzy Films, “takes place in a post-apocalyptic England, where a determined teenage girl must protect her younger brother and defend her parents’ farm in a world occupied by alien invaders.”
Frenzy is also developing Black Sky, a low-budget sci-fi horror, and The Car, a supernatural horror in the vein of Let the Right One and The Grudge.
