Nicolas Cage is a national treasure, an actor who is equally celebrated (Raising Arizona) as much as he’s laughed at (Vampire’s Kiss), and yet considered one of the best of all-time. While our younger audience probably knows Cage’s work from films such as National Treasure or Ghost Rider, he was a goddamn heartthrob back in the 80s when he starred in films such as Valley Girl. He’s a legend.
But I digress, he’s returning to our genre once again in the Cannes title Looking Glass for River’s Edee director Tim Hunter! Even cooler, he’s starring alongside The Craft‘s Robin Tunney!
Looking Glass follows a couple who, after experiencing a tragic loss, purchases a desert motel only to discover a series of disturbing, unexplained events that take place within one of the frequently requested rooms.
Looking Glass, described as a voyeur thriller, was written by Jerry Rapp and directed by Hunter, and produced by Braxton Pope and David M. Wulf. Highland Film Group is handling international sales during Cannes.
