‘The Gracefield Incident’ Trailer Captures Battle with Extraterrestrials

Film Mode Entertainment is bringing Mathieu Ratthe ‘s sci-fi thriller, The Gracefield Incident, to the EFM in Berlin with plans of a some sort of theatrical run this coming summer through Parade Deck Films.

Ratthe (The Talisman) also stars alongside Kimberly Laferriere, Victor Andres Turgeon-Trelles, Juliette Gosselin and Alex C. Nachi (Stonewall).

The Gracefield Incident is about Matthew Donovan, a video game developer, who embeds a camera into his prosthetic eye and decides to test it out on a weekend getaway with friends at a luxurious mountaintop cabin. Things take a terrifying turn when a meteorite crashes nearby and Matt’s eye records their battle facing off against extraterrestrials.

The film’s producer is Mathieu Ratthe. Executive producers include Bryan Turner and Sergei Fedorov.

Film Mode Entertainment is representing worldwide rights on The Gracefield Incident.

  • Jim Charette

Sergei Federov? The same Sergei federov who played or the Red Wings!?

    • Andrew Flynn

      One in the same.

    • I thought the same thing – two cool careers for that man!

  • Ryan Kuck

I see it has just about every cliche you can put in a FF film.

  • DJV1985

Please stop with these found footage films. Actually scratch that, if you’ve got something to add to it then do it, show the world a good take on the found footage but until that moment, until you’re positive that you have something to add to the genre then STOP. I beg of you stop. I get the attraction cheap production costs for a possibility of making big bucks like Blair Witch original and Paranormal Activity original but it’s rare like super rare to make huge bank.

And to that point, I wanna add stop both claiming or even pretending that these are real or remotely based on real stories and here’s the big one: IF you have to do it and make these FF films then when it comes to getting the aliens close to the character don’t scramble the damn footage. It’s pointless and dumb. I watch Alien Abduction films I wanna see the F’N aliens not a partial shot. Rant over –

  • Aaron Johnson

Ish no. Sorry. I saw everything bad about FF in that trailer. Swearing. Bad acting. Camera “malfunctions”.

  • Alanmac

    I’d stream it.

  • marklola12 .

what is the point of found footage when you can clearly tell they are just bad actors, the point of found footage is supposed to make people think the people were real and not actors

  • WoodsboroKiller

    Looks EXACTLY like Extraterrestrial.

  • Halloween_Vic

I’ve been waiting for this for almost 3 years already!!! This movie looks like a whole other level of bad ass. I know the main actor and director of the film worked his ass off to make this. Looks pretty terrifying, and I always love me a good extraterrestrial/alien invasion film.

  • Mike Lawrence

Looking forward to this one, aside from the pov cam style which I could not be more over!!
    It looks good!

  • Jammerz

Love alien abduction movies so I’ll definitely be watching this.

  • Saltoner

    Found footage movie. How unique.

  • Matthew Hutchinson

  • Wait, according to the YouTube description this takes place 75 years ago, but they have some sort of cybernetic eye recorder…. and…. Uh… modern clothes? I’m very confused by the contrast in the description and trailer. Also, people do realize that when you play back something you’ve recorded the annoying “REC” flashing light ISN’T THERE ANYMORE right?
