What Do H.R Giger And Cthulhu Have In Common? What About A ‘Call Of Cthulhu’ Graphic Novel Adaptation?!

There’s a lot of interest in H.P Lovecraft’s tentacle clad behemoth Cthulhu lately, and especially in the comic book world. Last week I showed readers a preview of Arcana Studios’ kid friendly version of the H.P Lovecraft story in “HOWARD LOVECRAFT AND THE FROZEN KINGDOM”, and beginning tomorrow more mature readers can get in on the action with Transfuzion Publishing’s graphic novel treatment of “THE CTHULHU MYTHOS”. Making this deal even sweeter is the fact that the book will include a forward by none other than occult art icon H.R Giger! (Creator Of The “ALIEN” Design) Read on for all the details and a 6 page preview.

WRITTEN AND ILLUSTRATED BY: Michael Zigerlig.
INTRODUCTION BY: H.R. Giger!

“An adaptation of one of H.P. Lovecraft’s most influential works. Staying true to the original work, Swiss writer/artist Michael Zigerlig, narrates the tale with the original prose of three points of view describing the horror of Cthulhu. Generally regarded as Lovecraft’s masterpiece, this tale, as many of Lovecraft’s work, influenced generatioins to come.

H.R. Giger, famed biomechanical artist and creator of the look of Alien, was so influenced by Lovecraft that he provides the introduction to this graphic novel.”
